one of those summer days.

h&m bikini top; american apparel bottoms; urban outfitters hat; ray-ban sunglasses; barneys ny bag; snake and fawn necklace

back in what's been my happy place for the past three years in chicago. i paired a scallop triangle top and high waist bottoms from two different brands to make the suit i've always been searching for, but could never find. you don't have to follow any set of preconceived ideals when it comes to dressing, for the beach or anywhere else in life. mix and match your make the rules! accessorizing makes it that much more fun - a straw bag for your books and snacks, a hat to shield your face, and delicate jewelry that won't leave tan lines. this snake and fawn necklace is such beautiful piece that i'm so happy to add to my collection - and those are my initials ('cm' for caylee marie), in my own handwriting ♥

i have always wanted to use this song in a post. it seriously takes you away to another world.

Very nice Caylee! I am on the hunt for the perfect top for my high waisted floral bottoms. I like the scallop. I agree. There are no fashion rules. When you realize that, it beccomes so much more fun and rewarding to style your own looks.
