my girly days are the more fun. skipping around the neighborhood in a swingy floral skirt, so many layers that i can barely feel the cold, and not a care in the world. topshop is selling an identical pair for $130+, but i picked up these boots for less than i paid for my strawberry milkshake at brunch - the best. fashion is cyclical and this goes to show that with a little hunting, you can find vintage classics that look exactly like what's currently in high street shops. i toned down the feminine skirt with an androgynous peacoat, another favorite find that was last worn here.
many thoughts come to mind as i write this post, but one thing that is sticking out most to me is something i've taught myself: act without expectation and let go of the outcome. it really is all about the journey and not the destination. and love yourself fearlessly.
