i just realized that i wore no less than three black skirts during my four days in NYC. yesterday you saw the first one, and here's the second - a flippy black number (also posted wearing it here) that'll take me from summer right into fall. i'm imaging it with a giant fisherman knit and ankle boots with scrunched black socks.
for our pictures, i suggested this brick red stoop that matched my blouse and was thrilled when dylana said the lighting was perfect, but even more so when i saw the results of her photography. aren't they dreamy? everything just seems so vibrant and alive, even though black storm clouds were actually rolling in. if i could have all of my outfit posts look like this, i would be in heaven. seriously, she has it all - beauty, brains, style, talent. nat nat does too. i've seen both of them three times in the past seven months (last NYFW and when they visited chicago!), and every time we meet there's that feeling like it hasn't been weeks since we've hung out. i'll tell you what - i can't wait until our next adventure. tomorrow i'll have a post with all of the other pics from this lovely saturday. see you then!
