thrifted blazer and blouse; h&m cropped pants (identical pair here) and necklace; vintage belt and gold ring; low luv x erin wasson silver ring; forever 21 earrings; asos watch; aldo boots (buy them here!)
here's my interpretation of the isabel marant a/w 2012 look that was sent down the runway in paris last friday, and that i blogged about yesterday. this combination was just too irresistible not to imitate. i have red pants, but i opted to make it my own with a coral pair instead. this color is no longer available in h&m stores, as these were purchased almost a year ago, but i did find that joe's jeans has an identical style here, right down to the cropped length and gold button closure! you'll remember this blazer from my look eight of thirty posted a few days ago. and these comfy casual boots added even more "marant-ness" to the outfit. get the exact pair here! me & my love affair with parisians...
this thrifted blouse is just the prettiest; it makes me happy. it has pleats and an embroidered lace neckline that you cannot see (boo), and i will have to take some detailed shots of it when i get a proper photographer to do so.
it felt like spring in chicago and everyone soaked it in like it would be the only 65 and sunny day of the year. restaurant patios opened, store fronts had their doors ajar, people lingered on the sidewalks, all of the runners were out in full force. spring is in the air! i enjoyed an unexpected second day off in a row mainly eating yummy treats and enjoying the company of two of my favorite people. doesn't get much better.
see you mañana for look eleven of thirty ;)
