fifteen of thirty.

vintage silk blouse & levi's cutoffs; h&m belt & necklace; ray-ban sunglasses; forever 21 earrings;
h&m, low luv x erin wasson, & vintage rings; asos watch; vintage bag & loafers.

here's what i wore on this toasty thursday (seriously, 80 degrees!) playing tourist with my mom around chicago. this is only her third time coming up from indy and visiting me since i moved here last june, and i love playing tour guide, so i took her downtown for brunch + mimosas, to navy pier for the ferris wheel and photo ops, and around my 'hood (wicker park) for vintage shopping and frozen yogurt. it's hard being away from your family when you lived with them for 24 years, and since i haven't seen my mom since christmas, it was a wonderful reunion. as for my outfit, i started out the day in jeans but did a quick stop at my apartment and changed into shorts as a 3 o'clock heat wave hit. pretty much everything i'm wearing is vintage (sweeeeeet). and thanks to the street style photogs who stopped to take my picture on michigan avenue. i hope to see it online soon and will definitely share it with you all!

here are some instagrammies from the day.

forever 21 sweater; h&m jeans; vintage bag and belt; aldo boots.

later in the evening, i met up with friends for coronas and mexican. the temperature dropped so much that i had to change back into jeans, and add boots and a sweater (the look you see above). fickle chicago.

ohhhh, and yesterday i went to madison, WI on a whim. some seriously cool things ended up happening that i cannot to tell you! also, the outfit that i wore during said adventures will be posted tomorrow too.
