dear topshop...

...you are one of my favorite brands, yet i've never stepped foot in one of your stores and do not own a single piece of your clothing. so then, how can you be a favorite, you ask? well, i see topshop clothing everywhere i turn, from blogs to editorials, and i wander over to your site every couple of days and drool over the amazing selection that is so well suited to my style it isn't even funny. while your prices are very reasonable in the broader scope of things, you are still a tiny bit out of my price range at the moment. hopefully that changes in the near future, and i get to see one of your lovely packages arrive at my doorstep, containing items like in the collage above: a rodarte-ish knit sweater, a fringed mini skirt, a sequined and shoulder-padded sweatshirt, a draped jersey blazer - all simple items with the perfect little details i crave.
yours truly, caylee

I'm in the same boat...there's a dress from them that I desperately want for my birthday, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it just yet. Oh well, save save save!

I feel you pain ;) I love so many items, but think how many inexpensive pieces I can get for one of theirs!

Feel you on that!

Just until recently, I have never stepped too and I was overwhelmed by their London flagship store.
But usually I am restricted to only drooling over their site :)

I can totally relate to you! In my case not only Topshop but also Zara & H&M.. :(

You had me at that knit sweater...and I totally agree. Not only that, but right after they post all these fab new items online, they are gone within hours and are never replenished. I could've spent days in the store in London, it's basically an amusement park of clothes, accessories, jewelry galore.

The lace top and Rodarte-ish sweater; YES, PLEASE! :)

I know what you mean about Topshop, and never stepping a foot inside, we don't have one here either... so sad, but true. :( We also need an H&M.

Anyway, I think my very first item is on its way from them. And I simply cannot wait. I want to show you.

xoxo!

lainey - aww i'm sorry. my problem with saving is that is see things at H&M and forever 21 that are so much cheaper than topshop, and i use that as my justification for spending there and not saving for topshop, lol. here's to hoping that you can find something else for your borthday just as good, in case you can't get the topshop dress! =)

antonio barros - oh they definitely ship to the U.S...i was just talking about how it's out of my price range right now =(

sofiasophie - yes they are. i know; i'm definitely in lust with that necklace right now.

elegant unique - ahhh i know, i'm sure it is and that frustrates me! it's just so hard when i have other, cheaper stores around me. it would be a hell of a lot easier if there were a topshop near me....

lions, tigers and fashion OH MY! - my feelings exactly!

frickys - oh you're so lucky; i would absolutely love to visit their london store! but until then, i'm right there with you, window shopping via topshop.com =)

lip gloss and mane toss - lol, that is definitely one of the first pieces i would get if i were to make a topshop purchase. oh i know, and it takes me a while to make a decision, so if i were actually going to purchase something, by the time i went back to buy it, it would probably be gone! an amusement park of clothes sounds like heaven to me =)

sanna - me too. badly.

veronica - thank you!

karina - meeee too.

fashion chalet - i know, those are two seriously amazing pieces. i cannot believe that miami doesn't have an H&M. i mean, if indianapolis does, miami should! haha. but i heard they are opening one in orlando this fall. and you MUST show me what you get! sooo excited to see it.

efvva - same here! it's so perfect for fall.

My name should also be signed to that letter. And every piece you picked out is brilliant.

Love Grace.

I love your style board. The one thing i hate though is that bottom right sweater. Topshop so ripped off Rodarte.

rickyjames - lol, thank you!

somedaynewyorker - thanks! i agree, they did rip them off, but it's great for people who cannot afford the real thing.

lotskipotski - oh they do, i was just talked about how their stuff is just too expensive for me right now =)
